Joy Infusion

Feelings of
gratitude promotes joy and well being.....gratitude is better than any drug you can take. It makes you feel happy and alive and it brings positive results in to your life daily.
This morning when teaching my Sunday yoga class I began with a visualization that went like this:
Close your eyes and open them from the back....look with in and expand your awareness in to the the inner space..... the inside part of you where everything is calm and okay no matter what is going on around you. Breathing deeply in and out think of something you are grateful for. Feel in your heart the joy and happiness that the positive quality that person, place or thing brings to your life. Feeling your heart flooding with the joy of gratitude.... allow your heart to pump this joy though out your entire body nourishing your cells and organs with gratitude and joy. Continuing your breath, expand the joyful and grateful feelings all around you until it envelopes the world and expands in to the universe at large. At this point you are probably smiling and feeling amazing and connected to every lifing things....continue this joyful feeling through-out your yoga practice and your day infusing your life with joy and gratitude.
