  Body Temple

Happy 2007!
Imagine having complete command over a body that is strong, flexible and feels divine. You get up in the morning feeling good and all of the things that used to be stresses in your life are replaced by only things that give you pleasure. Your mind is free and clear thinking happy grateful thoughts and you are enjoying every second of life. It is said that "if you can go there in the mind you can go there in to body".

I had the good fortune of being in South Beach Miami for New Years and the Bodies Exhibit was showing while I was there. Ganga White my yoga teacher had told me about this exhibit last year so when I saw it was there I skipped over to Downtown Miami to check it out. The real human bodies preserved and on display were fascinating. I loved to see our anatomy in such an inside out perspective. I got some new insights in to my yoga practice and I was reminded of how magnificence the human body is. If ever want to feel good I only need to take a look at my body to see the serendipitous energies of the universe at work.
I remember James Ray said in one of his presentations, "if you were given one car to drive for the rest of your life how would you treat that car?" Treating our bodies with loving kindness and attaining the life we desire means giving attention and awareness to the body, the suit case for the soul. By listening and responding to the bodies feedback system we can properly care for it. For example when feeling the effects of stress, changing gears and slowing down before the stress signal becomes unpleasant. Just like the oil light comes on in a car, pur bodies have a feedback system that tells us everything we need to know to have a happy healthy life.

Yoga is one of the greatest ways to nurture and attend to the body and its systems daily. Not only does yoga increase, flexibility, muscle strength, bone density, circulation, lung capacity and more.....it helps us to quite our minds to listen within to get in touch with the energy that powers our system, that power that breaths us. This energy willingly communicates all the information we need to know for what we need to do next to be relaxed and happy.

Listening to my inner feedback system I came up with a way to help myself with the stress of driving with the Parking Fairy a unique gift I hang in my car to remind me to be at ease while I commute. This little tool has changed my driving experience from stressed to relaxed because every time I see it sparkling at me I remember to be calm while driving and it works. It continues to help hundreds of people who have a Parking Fairy in thier car as well to get good parking spots. I get emails and calls all the time about how the Parking Fairy really works.....I love the feedback and..... I know it works for me too.
